At our meeting in April 2001, International Trophy Chair,  Joanna Henry gave members some insight into the history behind a long standing BCNC tradition, The International Trophy Exchange.
The brain child of members Maxine Murdock and Barbara Thackery, past Chairs have been Patsy Ropp, May Rothwell, Diane Rumburg.  For many years BCNC offered foreign clubs an armetal stein.  The steins were well received and are treasured by those who won them.		The participating  clubs requested a "change" a few years ago, and BCNC instituted  two club medallions on beautiful neck ribbons as the current club exchange trophy.
	BEST OF BREED &  BEST OPPOSITE SEX Perpectual trophy offered by Robin & Jutta Preston of Allegemeiner Club Fur Englische Bulldogs, West Germany.  To be won three times by the same owner, not necessarily with the same dog  To be held by the winner until 30 days before the next Specialty. The name of the dog and owner to be engraved on the base each year by the winner.
